You choose how many articles you publish each month. Everything else is included, from the first euro to the last: all 30 features, the full voice catalogue, the 23 reading languages and the three integration modes. No VAT is added: the amount shown is the amount charged (VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code).
What happens after the first click (renewal, volume change, declined card, cancellation) is written on the subscription page.
Every feature is included, whatever the volume. One credit = one article of up to 1,000 characters, roughly 167 words. Beyond that, one more credit per additional 1,000 characters started. Unused credits do not carry over from one month to the next. More than 1250 credits a month: let's talk.
On the annual plan you can move up mid-year: a fresh twelve-month commitment starts that day and the difference is charged pro rata. Moving down is requested before renewal and takes effect then.
What volume do I need?
Answer with what you already know: how many articles you publish, and how long they usually are. We work out the volume from that, not the other way round.
Your articles run to about 4,200 characters, so 5 credits each: beyond 1,000 characters, one more credit is needed per started block. That is the point to know before choosing. The slider step that covers you is 200 credits.
A character is a letter, a digit, a space or a punctuation mark: exactly what your word processor counts. We use an average of 6 characters per word, spaces included, which matches written French news copy.
What a credit is, exactly
We bill by the character, not by the minute of audio nor by the number of plays. So you know what an article will cost before you send it, and an article's success costs you nothing extra.
One article up to 1,000 characters, roughly 167 words. The same credit serves to correct a passage already produced.
From 1,001 characters, and up to 2,000. One more credit per started block of 1,000, even if it is started by a single character.
A play, a share, a clip taken from existing audio, chapter markers, subtitles. None of that is billed.
A started block is spent
An article of 1,001 characters consumes two credits. The 999 unused characters of the second credit carry over neither to another article nor to the following month: they are gone. Unused credits from one month do not carry over either. We would rather write it here than let you find it on an invoice.
Fixing a sentence costs less than remaking the article, and that is the whole point of targeted correction: it only bills the rewritten passage, pro rata of its characters, where a regeneration pays for the whole article again. 1,000 characters make one credit, so a ten-letter first name costs a hundredth of a credit, never an article. The price shows while you type.

Enough for 5 short articles or one average-length article, with a single player template and no regeneration. It is a test quantity to hear the result on your own texts, not a disguised offer.
Nothing turns into a subscription by itself: with no card on file, there is nothing to charge.
Several titles, large volumes
A press group, an in-house CMS, a particular hosting constraint: the price is built with you and the contract follows. The volume can be typed in by hand and is not capped.

Premium
The best sound: high-fidelity, natural voices, with cloning of your signature voice as an option. This is the default tier.
Sovereign
ComingA processing chain that does not leave Europe, end to end, with no technical fallback elsewhere: it fails rather than leaving. Text preparation already is; fully European reading is being brought into service. The tier will switch on from the client area that day, not before, and it is the product that checks before displaying it.
The signature voice
We clone the voice of one of your journalists at studio quality, with their written consent. It is the only line in the catalogue not included in the volume.
Keep it for your recognisable voices and your flagship content: it burns through the volume three times faster, and that is the kind of calculation better done before than after.
