Sections

A voice, a jingle and stats per section

Sports doesn't read like culture. Send the section with the article and WeDispatch adapts everything: a voice per section, a sponsor jingle per section, listening stats per section.

The problem

One voice for the whole outlet is flat. Weather, sports, obituaries and the editorial deserve different tones — and your advertisers would love to sponsor a specific section. Doing it by hand is unmanageable.

How it works

A voice, a jingle and stats per section

1

The section travels with the article

On WordPress the category is sent automatically; via the API a “section” field; on RSS the category tag. Nothing to re-enter.

2

WeDispatch applies your settings

A voice and an intro jingle per section, set once in the client area. An explicit voice in the request keeps priority.

3

You measure per section

Listens are broken down by section: you see where your audience really listens and value sponsors in the right place.

Section settings: a voice and a jingle assigned to each section.
The benefits

A voice per section

Sports with energy, culture with warmth: each section its voice, chosen once and for all.

A sponsor jingle per section

“Weather brought to you by…”: each section can carry its sponsored, monetisable intro.

Stats per section

You know which section is listened to most, and steer your production accordingly.

A morning playlist per section

Each section has its playlist and its podcast feed, to submit separately to the platforms.

Who it's for

Multi-section media: regional press, magazines, pure players that want to differentiate sound and open ad inventory by topic.

Frequently asked
How does WeDispatch know the section?

On WordPress the article's category is sent automatically; via the API a “section” field (alias of “rubrique”); via an RSS feed the category tag. No re-entry.

Can I force a voice for one article?

Yes. An explicit voice in the request always beats the section voice. The section is only a smart default.

Is the jingle my own file?

Yes, one public audio URL per section (same security rules as the intro). Perfect for a sponsored intro.

Are the stats detailed?

Listens are broken down by section in the client area, on top of totals — enough to steer production and advertising.
