Audio ready in the evening, live at 6am on the dot
The newsroom wraps at 10pm, the article goes out at dawn: set the time, WeDispatch generates right away but only serves the audio at the given time. The player is never silent in between.
Wrap happens in the evening, but the article mustn't leak before its time. Generating at the last minute risks the 6am outage; generating right away publishes too early.
Audio ready in the evening, live at 6am on the dot
Set the publication time
A publish_at field (e.g. 2026-07-18T06:00:00+02:00) with the article. The audio is produced immediately.
WeDispatch waits for the time
Audio is generated at deadline but only served at the given time, within ±2 minutes. Nothing leaks before.
Going live is clean
On an update, the previous version keeps being served until the deadline: the player is never silent.

Generated early, served on time
You absorb the load at deadline and guarantee audio available exactly at publication.
Accurate to ±2 minutes
The embargo holds: audio doesn't appear before the set time.
Never a silent player
On a last-minute fix, the previous version keeps playing until the deadline.
Works with review
Approving an evening's audio doesn't publish it before its morning time. The two combine.
Dailies and news sites with fixed publication times, embargoes, morning editions.

How do I schedule a publication?
By sending a publish_at field (ISO date with timezone) with the article. Audio is generated immediately but served only at that time, within ±2 minutes.
Can the audio leak early?
No. Until the deadline is reached, scheduled audio isn't served. The embargo is respected.
What if I fix it just before the time?
The previous version keeps playing until the deadline, then the new one takes over: the player is never silent.
Does it work with pre-publication review?
Yes. You can approve the audio the evening before; it will only publish at the scheduled morning time.
