WeDispatch 1.13.0: one offer, your volume
Starter and Premium are gone. One offer remains, everything included, and a single question: how many articles per month. A slider, a price that eases with volume, and a credit worth the same to everyone. A tour of version 1.13.0.
Comparing three columns to work out which one holds the feature you need is work we were asking you
to do on our behalf. This release removes it: there is one offer now, everything is in it, and the
only thing left to decide is your volume.
New
One single offer, and no locked features. Synced text, AI summary, chapters, passage correction,
audio quotes, multi-site, white label, multilingual editions, distribution and analytics: all of it
is open from the very first paid volume. Nothing to unlock, no tier to reach, no button pointing at
a higher plan. What remains around it is the free trial, to hear the result on your own articles,
and a bespoke contract above 250 articles a month.
A slider instead of plan cards. You move the number of articles you publish each month, from 5
to 250, and the price is worked out in front of you. It moves in steps of ten, because nobody thinks
in forty-seven articles.
The slider tells you what the next threshold gives you. Not in cents per credit, which means
nothing to anyone, but in articles: "move up to 80 articles, you gain 4.4". The credit price eases
at six thresholds, and the drop applies to the whole batch, not only to the articles above the
threshold. That is why, at certain steps, asking for more costs barely more. The panel is clickable:
it takes you straight to the volume it announces.
The annual commitment is charged once. It is the reference price, and it is 20% cheaper than
paying monthly. The full year total sits under the monthly price, before you commit to anything: you
know what will be charged, and when.
The volume-change rules are stated at the point of choice, under the slider, not in the terms
and conditions. On the monthly plan you move up or down freely and the new volume applies the
following month. On the annual plan you can move up mid-year, with a fresh twelve-month commitment
starting that day and the difference charged pro rata.
Improved
A credit is worth 5,000 characters for everyone. It was 4,000 at the bottom of the grid and
6,000 at the top: at equal volume, two customers were not getting the same article length. The
figure is now single, and it is stated everywhere an article counter appears.
The premium catalogue voice is included, at no extra cost. It was billed at €0.99 per article on
the entry plan. That surcharge paid for the gap between two plans that no longer exist.
The feature table no longer compares anything. It states what is included, and what a bespoke
contract adds on top. Two of its three columns had become identical.
The client area talks about volume, not plans. The Subscription screen shows the number of
articles chosen and what is left of them, without listing what would be available elsewhere.
