WeDispatch 1.1.0: what's new for you

Smoother checkout, a page per feature, usage you can finally read at a glance, and a clearer engine choice. A jargon-free tour of version 1.1.0.

Big announcements are nice. Small improvements that save you time every day are better. WeDispatch 1.1.0 is made of the latter: nothing spectacular on its own, but put together, a clearer product that is more pleasant to use. Here is what changes, explained the way we like to do it here, without jargon.

Checkout no longer leaves you guessing

Until now, coming back from the payment page, you sometimes had to refresh the page yourself to see your new plan appear. A small thing, but one that makes you doubt at the worst moment: right after you have paid. It is fixed. On returning from checkout, your plan is active and shown immediately, with no manual step. You can see straight away that it worked.

Every feature now has its own page

WeDispatch does a lot, and until now some of it stayed in the shadows. We gave nine of the product's capabilities their own page, in English and French: accessibility and the statement generator, AI image descriptions, listening analytics, multi-site management, the pronunciation lexicon, voice rules, AI charter mode, background music, and driving it all from an AI assistant via MCP.

Each page explains the problem the feature solves, how it works in practice, and who it is for. If you want to understand everything the product can do, the best starting point is the Features page. And to see what is included in each plan, every line of the comparison on the Pricing page now links straight to the feature it describes.

Your usage, in plain language

"600,000 characters a month", fine, but how many articles is that? A fair question. Your dashboard overview now answers it directly: on top of the bar and the percentage, it tells you how many articles you have left this month, based on the average article size for your plan.

And because we would rather warn you than have you find out the hard way, a colour scheme flags you as you approach the limit: everything stays green while you have headroom, turns amber from 75% usage, red from 90%, with a message explaining what happens if you hit the cap. No more nasty surprise at the end of the month.

The engine choice, clarified

WeDispatch lets you choose how your texts are prepared, between a quality engine and a sovereign one (European hosting and processing, built for the public sector and the press). That choice is now reserved for the higher paid plans, and the page says so plainly rather than leaving room for doubt. If you want the full reasoning, it is spelled out on the AI charter mode page, which goes hand in hand with this demand for transparency.

And next

We are keeping this pace: regular improvements, tested in staging before they reach you, and told here at every version bump. If one of these additions intrigues you or is missing for you, listen to one of your articles to see the rest of the product at work, and tell us what you would like to see in the next version.
